Daily vote resets are now live, completely eliminating the frustration of vote drift and giving players a consistent, predictable voting schedule.

The Problem: Vote Drift Was Hurting Everyone

Let's be honest - the old rolling 24-hour cooldown system had a serious flaw. If a player voted at 8 PM on Monday, they couldn't vote again until 8 PM on Tuesday. Vote at 8:30 PM on Tuesday? Now you're waiting until 8:30 PM on Wednesday. This "vote drift" meant players gradually voted later and later each day until eventually they'd miss a day entirely.

For players, this was frustrating. For server owners, it meant losing valuable votes from dedicated supporters who wanted to vote daily but got caught in the cooldown trap.

The Solution: Clean Daily Resets

Starting today, votes reset at midnight UTC every single day. It's that simple. Players can vote once per day at a time that works for them, and they'll always know exactly when their vote refreshes. No more mental math. No more "I thought I could vote but it's been 23 hours and 47 minutes."

But we didn't stop there. Premium server owners can now set a custom timezone for their vote resets. Running a server with a primarily North American community? Set your timezone to America/New_York, and your votes will reset at midnight and noon Eastern time - exactly when your players are most active.

This means:

• Players in your timezone can vote at convenient times

How to Get Started

The best part? If you're running a free server, there's nothing you need to do. The daily midnight UTC reset is already live and working for all servers on HyServers.gg.

2. Click the "Edit" button for your server

3. Scroll to the new "Vote Reset Timezone" section

4. Select your preferred timezone from the dropdown menu

5. Save your changes

Your vote resets will immediately switch to midnight and noon in your selected timezone. We support all major timezones, from America/Los_Angeles to Europe/London to Asia/Tokyo and everything in between.
